On November 20, 2024, firm principal Brendan Benedict was elected a Fellow of the American Bar Foundation ("ABF") for the District of Columbia. The ABF is non-profit research institute that focuses on topics of interest to the legal profession, as well as access to justice. ABF Fellows are "a global honorary society of attorneys, judges, law faculty, and legal scholars," and selection as a Fellow "is recognition of a lawyer whose career has demonstrated outstanding dedication to the highest principles of the legal profession and to the welfare of society." New fellows must be nominated by an existing Fellow and recommended by the ABF board of directors and local leadership, and membership is limited to 1% of attorneys in each State.
