On October 12, 2023, Everlaw named Of Counsel Michael D. Altebrando the Rising Star in eDiscovery at the 2023 Everlaw Summit Awards in San Francisco. The award recognizes "professionals with seven years or less of legal experience whose early accomplishments distinguish them as future leaders in the profession" as determined by a panel of judges "based on merit and excellence." Everlaw noted that Michael "has shown tenacity, ingenuity, and expertise" helping to "manage a team of review attorneys from 38 states and the District of Columbia, as they sifted through seven million documents — all while the pandemic pushed the team to a fully remote model" in Utah v. Google.
